Vacancy: Part Time Chaplaincy Team Leader Birmingham Airport

CIGB Workplace Chaplaincy Birmingham Solihull are recruiting for a Part-Time Team Leader for the existing Birmingham Airport Chaplaincy Team.

We are looking for a Team Leader with Chaplaincy experience, in good standing with a church community, to help people from diverse backgrounds to flourish within the working context of an airport, and to lead a team of volunteer Chaplains.

To  work 14 hrs/wk flexibly, with on-call availability;  £9,800 plus Pension Contribution

The Chaplaincy Service provides support to the retail and facilities staff in the context of their daily life and work, through a team of volunteer chaplains and a Lead Chaplain.

Opportunity  for an Anglican priest to lead a well-established chaplaincy to a number of significant companies and organisations in and around the city.

  • To offer pastoral support to employees by regular workplace visits.
  • To develop further the workplace chaplaincy across businesses in the city centre and Nottingham South Deanery.
  • To raise awareness of the chaplaincy in the wider Nottingham South Deanery, with the intention of inspiring new people and churches to become involved.
  • To lead, support and grow the team of voluntary lay and ordained chaplains.
